1954 NY YANKEES
vs WASHINGTON SENATORS
FROM YANKEE STADIUM
FEATURING A TRIPLE PLAY
This is something similar to a TV pilot
It was made to solicited advertising for the
“Yankee Game of the Week”
New York Yankees against the Washington Senators
from September 22, 1954
No Commercials, warm-ups or between innings
Gone are- balls, strikes, foul balls, warm-ups,
between innings and such
What is left is all the action plays- the outs, the hits and so on
The commentary has been re-done so that it matches the action
The game moves very quickly
I have only noticed a couple of outs not shown
The Game has been edited to 30 Minutes (Some 50 + Years ago)
The quality very good, the major problem being the
poor production values when it was made-
poor lighting, lack of cameras and so-on
INCLUDED IS A TRIPLE PLAY STARTED BY
YANKEE FIRST BASEMAN BILL SKOWRON
There is even a replay of this!
They claim this is the first Triple Play at Yankee Stadium
