This game was the follow up from the famous brawl game played earlier in the season (March 26)

that included the goalie fight between Mike Vernon + Patrick Roy

This free-for-all took place on May 19, during Game 4 of the

Western Conference Finals at Joe Louis Arena

During the penalty-filled game, Crawford was screaming obscenities at Red Wings

Head Coach Scotty Bowman across the glass separating the two benches.

The Wings would win that game

Crawford was fined $10,000 for the tirade
